Executive Assistant to the CEO
Lanie Oberg, CAP-OM joined the W&A family in 2012, bringing her experience in both the corporate and hospitality worlds. Previously, Lanie served in various roles for the Marriott and Hilton family of hotels, ranging from Sales Assistant to Office Administrator. Company culture has always been important to Lanie and continues to be a significant part of her day-to-day activities. As a member of the Memphis Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals, she received her Certified Administrative Professional certification in 2008 and her Organizational Management certification in 2012. During her membership with IAAP, she has chaired and been involved in many committees. Her current role is committee chair for the CAP Recognition and Review Course.
Lanie is a wife, and mother of three. Her children proudly attend and excel in Memphis City Schools. She currently holds office as Secretary to the WSMS Parents In Education program. Lanie was a Girl Scout troop leader for 7 years and continues to volunteer as needed for her daughter’s troop and Girl Scouts Heart of the South. The Oberg family is also actively involved in community outreach through the Church of Christ White Station.
